Welcome to Southend Against Sewage

Southend Against Sewage started in October 2021, because Anglian Water had discharged raw sewage into the estuary at Southend continually for nearly three weeks. We felt we had to act. We held a demonstration in October 2021, an action walk with local councillors in April 2022. This was only made possible because of people like you, who felt they too had to act. To be heard and help conserve our beautiful environment.

Lets work together to bring to an end the ongoing practice of using our rivers and seas to dump waste and sewage pollution. 

We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you. We organise action walks, local media campaigns, litter picks and out of season water testing. If you can help, please contact us.
